The on site cafe did a lovely hamburger. Amenities were very airy, hand basins very small and it could have been cleaner. The beach is straight across the road. You can walk along the beach or the pathway. Which is pleasant.

Clean caravan park. Most sites are a good size. Most sites are shady but not all. A good family park close to a safe family beach. Amenities are a bit old but clean. Great outdoor cafe at the front and a shop with basic supplies. Very quiet at night. No playground but you have the beach and children are allowed to ride push bikes 🚲 with their helmets on around the park. The staff also put out giant games while we were there but that might only be during school holidays.
Stayed here a couple of nights and really enjoyed the time. Very nice park, very quiet, amenities were clean, plenty of places to cook if you need a camp kitchen, grounds were constantly being cleaned and readied for the next intake. Electric bikes here for hire. The only negative was the connection for power and water for our site was beyond the next site on either side of us 🥴 maybe some trees ( golden cane palms) need to be taken away so that it was more readily accessible for exiting in the direction required rather than asking the person across from you to move their vehicle. But all was good and will certainly come back again for sure. Cafe out front is very good as well.
The staff made this a great stay, very friendly and very helpful. They had a variety of sites and options of accommodation with mine being large, flat and very tidy. The facilities were clean and tidy with the Shop and Cafe on site very handy. The sites were close together which I guess is common with most caravan sites but their was enough individual room and its a very quite and relaxing park with loads of trees giving excellent shade and beautiful wildlife. One thing that I think would make a great addition would be a swimming pool. I booked on a summer special deal and was a very good price and booked in online. Thankyou to all the staff who were working during my stay keep up the good work you definitely make this place great.

Van Park is in a beautiful area along the coast about 1 hour south of Bundaberg, amenities where very clean.

Pulled in for an overnight stay so never met park staff.
Beautiful beach straight across the road.
Breakfast at the cafe was delicious but I wish it opened earlier than 8 so we could have got on the road sooner.
